Sanatan Yoga Studio

Founded in 2022 by Raveena Sharma, Sanatan Yoga Studio is dedicated to preserving yoga in its authentic, traditional form . Raveena’s own journey — from corporate jobs at Amazon, IBM, and Flipkart to facing health challenges like PCOD and anxiety — inspired her to create a space where yoga could be practiced as a lifestyle, not just an exercise trend.

At our studio, yoga means more than stretching or sweating. We integrate Shatkarma (cleansing), Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing), Meditation, and Yog Nidra (guided relaxation) into every program. This holistic curriculum ensures both physical vitality and mental clarity. Our philosophy is simple: progress at your own pace. Whether you are new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, you will find classes that respect your level while steadily guiding you towards deeper practice. We aim to help individuals manage health concerns, improve fitness, and experience lasting peace of mind. Meet Your Instructor Raveena Sharma

Born in Shillong with roots in Rajasthan, Raveena Sharma moved to Bengaluru in 2014 to work with leading corporations. After years in fast-paced corporate life, she faced health challenges like PCOD, fatty liver, and anxiety. Searching for healing beyond medication, she discovered yoga’s transformative power.

Her recovery through yoga inspired her to undergo formal training and become a certified instructor. In 2022, she established Sanatan Yoga Studio with a mission to revive traditional yoga practices in their pure form.

Raveena’s teaching style emphasizes mindful sequencing, correct alignment, and safe progressions. She offers modifications for beginners while gradually exposing students to intermediate forms. Her sessions often include lifestyle advice, making yoga more than a practice — a way of living.

Students describe her as compassionate, attentive, and inspiring. She ensures every class balances effort with relaxation, leaving students energized and peaceful.

Our Teaching Style

Our Teaching Approach – Slow, Mindful & Safe

At Sanatan Yoga Studio, we believe yoga should be practiced with awareness, not speed. Our teaching style emphasizes slow, mindful progression that honors the traditional path of yoga.

Each class starts with Shatkarma (cleansing practices) when applicable, followed by carefully sequenced asanas to build strength and flexibility. Once students are stable in their postures, we introduce Pranayama to regulate energy and prepare the mind for meditation. Finally, sessions end with Yog Nidra, allowing deep rest and integration of the practice.

This gradual, layered approach prevents injuries and ensures long-term benefits. Students are guided with clear alignment cues, modifications, and props when needed. Instead of treating yoga as just another workout, we encourage participants to take the experience beyond the mat — into their breathing, eating habits, and lifestyle choices.
